Leveraging a Detail-Focused, Strategic Approach to Securing Results for Workers’ Compensation Clients
Dominick Nardozzi is an Associate Attorney at NRS Injury Law, focusing on workers’ compensation law. Highly methodical in his practice, Dominick secures results for clients by leaving no details uncovered and no avenue to victory unexplored.
A First-Generation Attorney Committed to Defending Injured Ohioans
Though no one in his immediate or extended family had ever practiced law, Dominick knew he wanted to be an attorney since age seven. “I’m a first generation attorney, and a first gen college graduate,” Dominick said, reflecting on the early years of his life that shaped his career path. “With my early years spent in a disadvantaged household led by a single mother, I experienced firsthand the injustices of larger systems designed to keep us down. I knew from an early age I wanted to pursue a career that would give me the tools to help families like ours.”
Dominick entered the workforce at age 15, diving headfirst into various working-class roles in the service industry and retail. Dominick worked through high school, undergrad, and law school, intent on providing for his family and their future. While studying at Bowling Green State University, Dominick’s affable character, superior communication skills, and detail-oriented mind secured him employment in the university’s IT department, a role he excelled at for several years before making the leap into law school.
A Commitment to the Details and a Willingness to Present Them in Court
“The details are everything,” Dominick says, laying out his approach to lawyering. “Growing up, it became clear to me that bureaucratic systems are made so overly complex that it’s difficult to get ahead, in everything from health insurance to student loans to food stamps to workplace injuries. The only way to beat these systems and win for clients is to become a master of the details, which is what I’ve aimed to do as a workers’ compensation attorney.”
Highly motivated and ambitious, Dominick is a fast learner, quickly sorting the details of a case into a nuanced legal strategy that will secure the best value possible for a client’s claim. The approach is smooth and calculating on the surface, but on a deeper level, Dominick’s commitment to his clients is driven by his fierce loyalty to working-class Ohioans who’ve been injured in the line of work and are now up against powerful insurance companies and complex bureaucratic institutions.
Work/Life Balance
Podcasts, cooking, reading, writing fiction, Dungeons & Dragons campaigns with friends, whenever Dominick isn’t practicing law, he’s actively engaged in other activities that stimulate his mind and keep his brain performing at peak efficiency. But not every day can be dedicated to cognitive fitness, and on the weekends, Dominick can usually be found hiking around Ohio’s parks and trails. He’s also fast becoming a big Ohio sports fan, and he’ll never say no to a snuggle session on the couch with his orange cat, Leo.
