Leveraging Legal Skills and Case Experience to Provide Results for Clients

Associate Attorney & Personal Injury Department Manager

“Being an attorney means being of service to the people,” says Christina Strubbe, reflecting on more than a decade in the legal field. After obtaining an accounting degree in 2006 and spending three years in finance, Christina knew she had to shift her career into something that would serve others. Being witness to her brother's struggle against the legal system in a difficult custody dispute for his three children, Christina decided to go into law to advocate for those who were in the right but who needed support in making their voices heard.

A Timeline to Exceptional Legal Prowess

In 2010, Christina obtained her Certificate of Paralegal Studies and spent the next nine years working as a Personal Injury Paralegal. Christina developed a passion for assisting individuals harmed by the negligence of others, and she became so adept at managing cases that it was an average day at the office for her to oversee 220 cases at once. While working her full-time job, Christina put herself through law school by attending evening classes at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. From 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily for several years, Christina’s life was entirely dedicated to law.

In 2019, Christina graduated with a Juris Doctorate, was sworn into the Ohio Bar in early 2020, and has not looked back. As an associate attorney with NRS Injury Law, she focuses her legal practice on personal injury and manages a portion of the Personal Injury Department team.

Compassion and Empathy at the Core

“From the very beginning of my career, I found myself most interested in the cases where I could stand up for someone who had been grievously wronged,” says Christina. “When I volunteered at the Cleveland-Marshall Civil Litigation Clinic, I experienced firsthand what it was like to represent individuals seeking remedy from landlord-tenant disputes and those needing civil stalking protection orders. These were real people whose day-to-day lives had been completely upended and who needed help. That was where I found my desire to dedicate my legal practice to helping others.”

The first in her family to attend college, Christina made it her mission to explore a career where she could help, uplift, and provide security and a better future for those who had been the victim of negligence, be it someone who was injured in a motorcycle accident or someone who was struck by a commercial carrier or was injured on the premises of a business or public building.

Aligned with the NRS Injury Law Mission and Vision

“I was first drawn to NRS Injury Law because their approach to law is different,” says Christina. “They’re not robotic or distant. Their attorneys actually interact with clients. It’s a personal relationship where NRS Injury Law sees its role as one of advocacy and representation, not purely a business relationship.”

In addition to aligning with the goals and mission of NRS Injury Law, Christina is also passionate about the nrsinjurylaw.com/community-involvement/  programs the firm organizes. From volunteering at the Greater Cleveland Foodbank to supporting families during the holidays, Christina works inside and outside the law office to ensure her community gets the support it needs.

NRS Injury Law is zealous in its client advocacy, and the firm cares deeply for its clients, providing empathetic and patient service to every person who calls the firm. With a similar set of values and goals, Christina fits right in at the NRS Injury Law team representing injured Ohioans and leading her internal team.

Work/Life Balance

Managing an entire department while serving her clients is more than a full-time job, but Christina still makes time for her pets and hobbies. An Ashtabula County native now residing in Concord, Christina enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending her free time with family and friends.
